Not surprisingly this is exactly how it works. You are here to grow your spirit and soul. Anything which gets in the way of this has a consequence on the other level where your new enlarged spirit is need to help. If it has failed to grow it will not be able to help.

In life on Earth it is very important to listen to your spirit Guides who will help you measure your progress. If you feel in your heart that an act is not the right thing to do, it is those helpers trying to direct you away from the course of action, because they can see how it will impact on your spiritual growth.
